The Bolzano Cinforum was founded in 1952. Since 1958 it has been recognized as a cultural organization and has been a member of the Italian Cineforum Federation.
The Cineforum encourages people to contemplate and reflect on the film material by means of critical debate and reviews organized around a specific subject matter or theme. As an organization it is distinguished both by its long tradition and by its ability to launch itself into the future, achieving cultural progress through technological advancement.

The Bolzano Cineblub was founded in 1969 by a group of amateur film makers working in the field at that time.
The club has been continually increasing the scope of its activities over the years, adapting itself to the new electronic and digital technologies as they became available. Its members' productive passion, however, thanks to which many important artistic innovations have been made both nationally and internationally, has been an invariable and constant attribute that has consistently retained its position within the organisation.

Harlock, founded in the Spring of 1997 regards art and culture as fundamental instruments in the human process of socialization and interaction, in both the editorial and discographical fields. In addition, the organisation oversees and coordinates installations and concerts.
In consideration of the fact that multimedia has forced its way onto the contemporary socio-cultural scene, Harlock's main goal is to promote and encourage productions that interact with other sectors, joining different language forms into a complex whole (words, music and images). The Harlock association has been concentrating its efforts on the creation of a fusion between art and communication: there can be no art if there is not first the will to communicate.
